As a 1 million+ views TED speaker who earned honed his skills as public speaker during his years incarceration, Marlon is best suited for larger events and conferences. He is unique because he can captivate and inspire a large audience of adults , and be just as skilled and impactful in a room (or zoom) of 10 young people.
As the author of Bird Uncaged: An Abolitionist's Freedom Song, Marlon's memoir illustrates his ability to speak to issues of: race, childhood trauma, incarceration, undefining manhood, leadership, professional development, public speaking AND speech preparation techniques. As a formerly incarcerated Brooklynite with strong Trinidadian roots, Marlon has also given talks about issues of immigration & deportation.
